The Instituto Floresta Viva (IFV) is an organization dedicated to the conservation of the Atlantic Forest on the southern coast of Bahia, seeking to reconcile human well-being with its integration with the forest. Based in the Serra Grande district, the institution was established from the Floresta Viva program, which operated from 2001 to 2003.
